Mylad's Sharp Dressed Man

I wasn't planning on a boy, when Debbie Foust asked me to co-own this gorgeous guy. He became our first Canadian and American champion in just SIX months while living with and being SUPERBLY handled by Debbie. This is a Taylor x Stash breeding from Mylad Havanese http://www.havanesegallery.hu/show_dog_en.php?id=26557. I had always watched Debbie in the ring and asked her for hints and pointers and after years of a couple dogs 'not working out' for show. Debbie asked ME to co-own!! I was on top of the world that she would trust me enough. Without her help, I wouldn't be able to do what we are doing now!! Debbie openned the door to Lauren being comfortable with me owning another Mylad beauty just a few months later :o) Health testing:

Mylad's Chantilly Lace of Dz

My first Canadian Champion!!
Lacey was lovingly bred by Mylad havanese and is a Kensie x Coby daughter
http://www.havanesegallery.hu/show_dog_en.php?id=24098
At the 2011 Tradex Show in Canada, I got 'anxious' so she was handled by David Stout and Janet Birdsall for a 3 point major for WB on the first general show and then a 5 point major at the Specialty for Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best Puppy coming home with EIGHT points! My first points on any of my Havanese...Lauren and I finished her in December 2011 handling several of Lauren's girls that weekend. Thank you Lauren for allowing me this beautiful girl to become my 'foundation' bitch.

Nitro

Yes, He is NOT a Havanese, but he is my son's therapy dog and official puppy socializer and playmate. I had ALWAYS wanted a Sheltie and in nursing school 2003, apartment living made big dogs out of the question. Nitro has proved to be an awesome representation of the breed in temperment. He is very Special to our family and will remain our 'pet' for the rest of his life :o)) Thank You Barbara Vann of CharBar Havanese for getting us in touch with Locklyn at Apple Acres Shelties and assisting in the transport.
